Head 2 Toe Security is a supplier of specialist clothing and safety equipment for door supervisors and other security personnel, It sells a diverse range of products, including Hi-viz/PPE Workwear, radio comms, body armour and first aid supplies via a high street shop in the busy Charminster district in Bournemouth, Dorset, and also to its nationwide customers via its online shop.
With high demand for its specialist products, Head 2 Toe Security approached Dusza to see if it could offer a better eCommerce solution than it had already. Its existing site had a number of limitations detrimental to customer fulfilment, and Dusza quickly identified all of the key areas that required attention so that Head 2 Toe might establish itself as significant competition to the market leaders in its sector.
The key requirements for Head 2 Toe's new site included an integrated automatic payment system to reduce administration time; a comprehensive Content Management System with a user friendly interface so that it is easy for administrators to update; the ability to search engine optimise content for better penetration into search engine page results; customer login facility to streamline future purchases; and of course a new, improved design to establish the business as a market leader. Dusza delivered on all of these key requirements with the Star eCommerce system.
Refining the company's logo was essential to establishing the new brand identity. The new logo combined with a well-defined, judicious design for the main layout of the site not only allows product sales to be driven directly from the home page, but also helps to instil more confidence in the customer with regards to the eCommerce's credibility.
Overhauling the design, tone and usability, as well as its performance in terms of browser compatibility and speed, has worked in terms of affirming Head 2 Toe as a reputable alternative to the existing market leaders in the security industry for specialist security clothing and equipment. Streamlining the sales checkout together with automating the payment gateway has dramatically improved the customer experience, and successfully converted more of the existing traffic into actual sales.
The site has a comprehensive Content Management System (CMS) behind it which gives the shop owners total control over the web site content, order management and, most importantly of all, the product catalogue. It makes maintaining and updating the web site easier and quicker, thus saving even more valuable administration time. There are many more time and labour-saving devices programmed into the administrator's system too. For example, the back-end is capable of taking and logging orders, processing payments, creating picking lists, automatically sending e-mail invoices, and even exporting sales information into Excel-compatible spreadsheet files for accounting purposes.
Maintaining high standards of customer service was vitally important to Head 2 Toe Security, therefore as well as administrators being able to manage customer and order details, customers are also able to log in to view and update their own details, as well as track their order status.
