Hair Goddess Website goes Live

Hair Goddess are the UK's no.1 for professional hair straighteners. HG Hair straighteners feature the highest quality korean floating ceramic tourmaline plates, which heat up rapidly, can be adjusted to different temperatures and give an even heat distribution. HG straightners are great for not only creating a gorgeous silky straight style, but also for luscious curls, waves or flicks.
At the end of September 2008 Hair Goddess chose DUSZA for website design and website development of their ecommerce site, as well as carrying out search engine optimisation. Needless to say DUSZA were delighted to be selected by such a high quality and luxurious brand.
Programming started in early October and DUSZA is please to announce that the website went live yesterday!
The final ecommerce site features a variety of exciting features:
- Product Management enabling HG Hair to upload information about the hair straighteners including text description, multiple images and a variety of product specific information
- Stock Management enabling HG Hair to enter stock and alert levels and easily manage their stock of straighteners
- Order Management enabling HG Hair to view orders, take payments, dispatch orders and deal with any order queries all online through the easy to use Content Management System
- Customer Management enabling administrators to view customer information and enabling customers to log in to their account, view of change information and track their orders through an integrated DHL system
- Advertising Management enabling HG Hair managers to create individual advertising campaigns or upload banners from other advertisers
- Promotional Management enabling HG Hair to create discounts on individual hair straightners or offer promotional codes for their whole product range.
- Trade Area enabling HG Hair to offer credit accounts, special trade discounts and promotions to salons who have registered.
As well as being technologically advanced it was essential to Hair Goddess that their site reflected the high quality design of their hair straighteners. To this end HG Hair took advantage of DUSZA's product design service. DUSZA created a bespoke illustration which features on the HG Limited Edition Styler. DUSZA also carried out creative photography of the products so that the images on the website showed the products in the best possible light.
The HG Hair website was completed in just 6 weeks - smashing our previous build time record! Hair Goddess are extremely happy with the site, Ben Collins the managing director commented,
