The logo features an icon which incorporates a 'thought bubble' tree growing from the 'i' in Think. The colour pallete is warm and the fonts are a combination of sans serif on 'Think' and handwriting on 'Family Tree'. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Think Family Tree website is small, but beautifully formed, it includes a home page and three service pages as well as an enquiry form, linking to an email address. 			<description>&lt;p&gt;In December 2008, the Chancellor, Alistair Darling, unveiled in the Pre-Budget Report a 13-month lowering of VAT from 17.5% to 15%. Well the 13-months are almost up and as of 1st January 2010 retailers must revert to charging 17.5%. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How does this change affect ecommerce...&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As a non-dusza ecommerce owner this change may have caused a huge drain on resources first time round, changing the VAT rate on each of your taxable products throughout your website. And now, just when you probably want to be concentrating on Christmas and then your New Year sale you have to go back and change them all again. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Is this the last VAT change...&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm sure that most retailers are certainly hoping it is, but tax experts warn that VAT rates may rise in the future, perhaps as high as 20% (in line with France, Austria, Hungary and Italy). Alistair Darling's legislation which enables a temporary VAT change may lead to a significant increase in the VAT rate after the next election. They were looking for a website which was clean and crisp, informative and having seen our portfolio, thought that we produce the right kind of sites. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After some initial conversations, which enabled us to get a feel for Indigo Lyon's business, Dusza created a proposal for the website. The proposal outlined our thoughts about the website in general and also included a design and full breakdown of the proposed structure. The structure would include a selection of Service and About Us pages which would give users a total overview of Indigo Lyon. Then the answer is definitely - yes. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This article aims to give guidance on why and how Gordon Brown's tax cut could affect every Ecommerce site.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;LowerIng UK VAT - the background... &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Chancellor, Alistair Darling, unveiled in the 2008 Pre-Budget Report a 13-month lowering of VAT to 15 per cent. Whilst the tax cut is likely to be welcomed by consumers, retailers who trade online could be left feeling the pinch. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Even though the tax cut is optional, allowing retailers to opt out of the cut and still charge the pre December rate of 17.5%, consumer confidence and thus custom could be compromised if retailers choose to do this. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The obvious point of contention is the sheer amount of human resources time and consequently money that may be needed to manage the VAT changes on a standard ecommerce. If we were to assume that the ecommerce trader found it necessary to change the VAT rate on each of their products and those products were in large quantities, for example say an ecommerce with hundreds or thousands of products, then the amount of work involved to change each price is considerable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Is another VAT change imminent in 2009? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Of course the government have made this initial change optional. But with claims that the government are considering changing the VAT threshold from 15% up to a speculated 20% in 13 months time the optional change that has so kindly been granted recently, may only be the beginning. With that in mind it seems unlikely that any ecommerce trader will be fortunate enough not to have to modify their website to cope with VAT alterations at some point in the future.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Should ecommerce traders NOT pass the VAT savings onto their consumers.... &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A further draw back of ecommerce traders not coming in line with the new drop in VAT is that their consumers may be put off purchasing from them because they are not passing on this small but politically significant drop in VAT. When you search for a product or service in Google (rather than information) the results returned at the very top (highlighted in yellow) and on the right hand side of the page have paid to appear in these positions. This is called Pay-Per-Click (PPC). These companies have set up PPC campaigns for specific keywords and pay each time someone clicks on their advert (whether or not they actually buy anything). More about PPC campaigns below.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Without paying it is more difficult to get on to the first page of Google, however it is achievable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;How do I get my website on the first page in Search Engines?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There is no simple solution to getting found in Search Engines, the best way to achieve high search engine ranking is to create the best possible website for your clients as the quality of the website and the information it contains is what search engines use to order results. Some of the things you need to bear in mind are:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Accessibility - If a website does not confirm to WC3 web standards for accessibility (read more about accessibility in our web services section it is likely that Search Engines will not be able to index the content of your website properly, in some cases (websites with high flash or image content rather than text) the website may be almost invisible to Search Engines.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Volume of information - it is important that you give your client's a wide range of information about your product or service&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Updating of information - it is important that you regularly update the information on your website to give your client's accurate up-to-date information&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Keyword research - it is important to think about or even better to research keywords which clients may use to find your website&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Keywords use - it is important that the information on your website contains your chosen keywords, but in a balanced way (keyword 'stuffing' can be recognised by Search Engines and will be penalised)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Link building - this is one of the most time consuming and effective ways of achieving high Search Engine ranking. Link building is having a link to your website on someone else's website, it is even better if that link is reciprocal (a link on your site to theirs and on their site to yours). However it is also a very dangerous activity - Search Engines are capable of recognising links to unrelated sites and unrealistic volume of links both of which would be penalised.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;These are just some of the ways to help your website do well in Search Engines and just a brief overview of each. The logo was based around the letter M utilising the Roman numeral for one million. The imagery Dusza sourced for the leaflet followed through this money concept, with a money paper aeroplane on the front and a pile of bank notes in the centre. Dusza used a simple font and text layout to emphasise the services offered by MVFS. 			<description>&lt;p&gt;Dusza are pleased to announce the launch of the No To Failure website.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No to Failure (NTF) is a project who's aim is to highlight the link between children failing in school and Specific Learning Disabilities (SpLD) and seek to prove that SpLD training is critical and essential for teachers. No to Failure is supported and funded by the Department for Children, Families &amp; Schools (DCFS).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Dusza has worked with a number of Dyslexia organisations over the past two years so we were well positioned to help NTF achieve an effective and easy to use website.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One of the most important aspects of a Dyslexic friendly website is the use of colours and fonts to make the design easy to read and understand. Dusza created two versions of the NTF website; a black version and a white version. Users can easily switch between designs. Users can also make the text larger.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The website also features a Content Management System - to allow administrators to upload articles about the project, including text and images, and a Dyslexia Questionnaire to help users find out if they might be dyslexic. Dusza completed the website from consultation to going live in under 1 month to fit in with NTF's deadline.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Dusza are very proud to have been involved with this important project and are looking forward to working together in the future and seeing the results of NTF's work to help children.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
